Punk Racks
AKA: Roman Fox, Roman Lang
Roman Lang (born November 15, 2008) known professionally as Punk Racks (previously known as Roman Fox), is a Canadian recording artist and producer.
In an article from FORTHEYOUTH, Punk Racks first got into music as early as a kid, writing lyrics inspired by video game songs, alongside his sister, which sparked the thought of making his own music, with his first inspirations coming from Eminem and Twenty One Pilots. The turning point of his music came when he saw Matt Ox blew up at a young age, inspiring him to create the music he felt it was natural and freeing.
His earliest release dates back to 2020 with the release of “Ball & Chains,” however since then all of his earliest releases from that time period have been deleted. From that time frame, Racks (going by the time as Roman Fox) would release a slew of singles, which led up to the release of his debut mixtape Untitled on August 2, 2025.
Around late 2025, Roman rebranded his entire image and renamed himself to Punk Racks, taking inspiration from the Hardcore Punk genre. That same time period, he started making small noise in the underground scene, originally from his unique marketing strategy where he would go on comments on random TikTok videos to self-promote his music, resulting in minor success but also sparked controversy. One of his singles, “Gun Point,” would catch attention, with Racks being compared to Nettspend, in terms of their sound.
He released his debut EP The Life of Racks on January 23, 2026. Like with “Gun Point,” songs such as “The Life of Racks” and “12XU' would receive success in the underground scene, the latter of which would go viral for Racks' unique sound. He would then go onto release his debut studio album PUNK’S NOT DEAD on August 14, 2026.
Punk Racks' inspiration in music comes from a wide range of bands and artists, from the likes of Sex Pistols and Minor Threat, as well as Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert. He plans on blowing up in the underground scene before graduating high school, planning to commit on making music full time in the future.
