Psyfix
Psyfix is a Belgian rock and metal band formed in Mechelen and founded by Chiel Tondeleir in 2025 after a series of personal challenges. He was later joined by Rutger Peuteman (drummer), Bart Box (bass guitarist) Yannick Reynders (scream vocalist), and Sofie Jacobs (lead vocalist). The band also includes guitarists Quentin “Q” Plaetevoet and Ivo Wullaert, completing their lineup. Later, Yannick left the band to focus on a solo project and was replaced by Arne Vandoorne.
The Belgian band is recognized as a pioneer of Hybrid Metal, combining various metal genres with melodic harmonies and powerful guitar lines (fusing the intensity of Nu-Metal, the depth of Alternative Metal, the melody of Symphonic Metal, and the raw power of Metalcore and Rock).
In 2025, Psyfix won the Noord Zoekt Talent competition and finished third in Rock ‘n Blues Rally, marking a significant milestone in their early career.
