Ricky Shanklin (born August 20, 2003), professionally known as Protect, is an American recording artist from Buffalo, New York.

He is a member of Ball Hogs, a record label owned by his cousin BruceDropEmOff.

In late 2024, he landed a deal with Atlantic Records and shortly after signing released his debut studio album Ball Hog For Life on December 20, 2024.
