Primal Fear is a collection of guys whose dream is to put out the most crushing yet catchy (it seems) Metal that you can find.

This band features songs with great moments, crushing riffs, fantastic vocals, and well constructed bridges in their middle sections of their songs. This band is from Germany and they formed in 1998 and they are known for their melodic riffing and catchy choruses.

Primal Fear is heavily influenced by bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween and (I would even add) Megadeth. This is an intelligent Metal band that knows how to write music and have a plethora of great songs across the board popular or not. If more people knew who these guys were, a lot of their songs would be way more popular, but they have close to 20 songs already with over 1 million listens on Spotify with their top song “The End is Near” peaking at close to 4 million as of 2024.

This is a crushing yet catchy group that every old-school Metal fan must hear because they’re for-real guys and if you think this is a bunch of BS, well, then give them a listen. I personally recommend “Running in the Dust” or “Hounds of Justice,” I guess. Hopefully, these guys are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame one day because they deserve it.
