Preston Max Allen is a transmasculine playwright and musical theatre writer, composer and lyricist.

He created and wrote the book, music, and lyrics for the off-broadway cheerleader horror musical, We Are The Tigers (Ovation winner, Best Lyrics/Composition) as well as Never Better (NYMF Developmental Reading Series) and Carrie 2: The Rage, An Unauthorized Musical Parody (Jeff Nominee, Best New Musical).

He is a graduate of the musical theatre program at Columbia College in Chicago, and an alum of both the Second City Chicago Comedy Studies Program, and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop. For the 2019/20 season, Preston is a member of the Ars Nova Play Group.

Preston lives with his beloved cat, Hero in NYC and is very open about his transition on his social media accounts.
