Portion Control is a British electronic and industrial band, recognized for their early use of sampling.

Dean Piavanni (vocals), Ian Sharp, and John Whybrew formed the band in 1979 South London, with their first full-length release, A Fair Portion, debuting in 1980. They went on to release seven more studio albums, four EPs, and a handful of singles over the next several years.

In 1987, the group disbanded before reforming as Solar Enemy in 1990, continuing on under this name until 1993.

In 2002, Piavanni and Whybrew reformed the band and released their first new album in eighteen years, Wellcome, in 2004. Their latest album, Unrest in the Grime, was released in 2016.
