Porch Light is a Minneapolis-based indie alt-rock band featuring Jackie Uhas (vocals), Zac Fogarty (guitar), Kyle Siemon (guitar), Henry Hughes (bass), and Isaiah Trimbo (drums).

Formed in the summer of 2024, the band started practicing on a porch in Dinkytown and quickly built a following by sharing raw, unfiltered cover performances on TikTok and Instagram. Their most popular covers include “Zombie” by The Cranberries, “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star, and “Ain’t It Fun” by Paramore.

Before any official music was out, Porch Light sold out their first headlining show at 7th St. Entry and earned a coveted spot in First Avenue’s Best New Bands showcase.

Their sound draws heavily from the alt-rock of the ‘90s and early 2000s, drawing new fans with a sense of nostalgia. Porch Light teased their first original release “Fall Back” on social media, which completely blew up. No budget, just a group of friends rocking out in their basement.

They worked with producer Caleb Wright to capture their live energy in the studio for their first EPs Porch Light and Navy Blue.
