Polar is a “metaverse born” TikTok and Youtube “influencer”. She makes “songs” on the internet while also using an animated character to make TikToks and “music videos”. Despite her 1.6 million “followers” on TikTok, she is often criticised for her animated character’s stiff movements (because of a mediocre rig), boring and unintelligent “song lyrics”, being a clear money grab, and, most of all, being a very obvious and rather obnoxious copy of the internet superstar Hatsune Miku, who is a Vocaloid that has been around since 2007.
