AKA: Kid Phix, Mason Davis, Mason Allen Davis

Phix, born April 16th, 1991, is a singer, rapper, and songwriter from Lubbock, Texas. With a comparable sound to artists such as Bring Me the Horizon, Bad Omens, and a side of rap. There is a plethora of melodious choruses and incredibly driving production. From the early age of 17, Phix began his journey creating hip-hop music with long-time friend known as “Black Zeus”. The first song he ever recorded was a remix to Drake’s original song “Fear” around 2008. This led to teaching himself how to mix, setup a recording space, and ultimately start becoming an independent artist. Fast forward into the mid 2000s and he has created a few mixtapes and solo projects that were uploaded to Datpiff and Soundcloud. A lot of influence early on in his creative development was from G-Eazy and his project “The Tipping Point”, to Logic’s “Young Sinatra” mixtapes. A few steppingstones worth mentioning in regard to Phix’s career are nothing short of incredible. From being featured on Worldstarhiphop’s ground pace to performing all over the United States with a multitude of artists.
