Overlöded

AKA: Löded Diper (Formerly)

‘'Overloded’‘ (stylized as “Overlöded”) is a Connecticut-based emo-punk band, formerly known as “Löded Diper”. Originally formed as a direct homage to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series with Rodrick as the frontman and Bill as the drummer, the band took a step forward and furthered themselves from the series, making original songs and albums.

The band was a solo project in its early years, with the album “Cranium Shaker” being written and recorded solely by “Rodrick” under the Löded Diper moniker.

In a skit posted by the band in March 2022, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid character “Bill” was announced to be rejoining the band for their second album, “Love & Youth.” With the anonymous identities of Rodrick and Bill, this remained the lineup of the band until their name change in early 2023, adding new members under the aliases of Greg (Guitar) and Rowley (Bass). Joining the band prior to Overlöded’s first live performance, their inclusion made this Diper truly full.

In October 2023, the band revealed their identities to be Aiden Bonilla and Drew Macneil as Rodrick and Bill, respectively. New members Greg and Rowley were revealed to be Arlo Matthews and Duncan Stewart. This initial line-up consisted of all of the members of the band “Flipside” at the time.

In the early months of 2024, Overlöded formed an alternative lineup used for performances in Connecticut while Matthews and Stewart were in different states, adding members Nathan McKenna (Guitar) and Noah Bielecki (Bass). For a series of shows that spring, the two lineups combined to form a 6-person group with all the aforementioned members. In addition, Ledger Bartholomew made select appearances at the shows as an auxiliary member on Saxophone. Stewart announced his departure as a live member of the band shortly after the run was finished.

The band then would go on a brief hiatus from live shows, however, this did not come with inhibiting their scope. Bonilla would take a trip and end up playing lots of solo shows/with local bands in Asian countries— including a familiar face of Sentimental Okada (they would then release a single together known as Young Passion). Overlöded & Bonilla would demonstrate the band already has amazing global outreach.
After his trip, for Fall 2025 we see a new addition of Andrew O’Farrell (guitar) for the respective live shows and a continued involvement of Dan Stark filling in as a temporary drummer.

The band currently is on a brief hiatus from live shows, but it was confirmed that another project is in the works.

Sally Riley is considered the manager-figure of the band, opting to spread word of their likeness on a local level, as well as being responsible for some photography and additions to album/single covers.

For collaborations, Overlöded has frequently worked with Skeleton Boy and has with Sentimental Okada & John Sevilla
