Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr. (April 23, 1992 – December 26, 2024), better known by his stage name OG Maco (formerly known as Maco Mattox), was a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He was most known for his 2014 hit single “U Guessed It,” which peaked at number 90 on the Hot 100.
He was signed to Quality Control. He was also chosen as part of the XXL Magazine 2015 Freshman Class.
On December 26, 2024, OG Maco sadly passed away at the young age of 32. He had been hospitalized since December 12th after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
