oaf1 is a rapper, singer, and producer from Seattle, Washington. He is most well-known for his songs “doing it wrong,” “think abt it,” and “Perfect,” each of which has garnered millions of streams.

Like many of his collaborators, oaf1’s visual and musical style is inspired heavily by early internet culture, drawing from sounds and aesthetics that emerged during the 2000’s and early 2010’s.

oaf began posting songs to SoundCloud in 2019 with his friend dreamcache. In 2020, he would begin releasing songs with ex-Hinoni member, Capoxxo, co-founding the now-defunct collective, 6th Floor, alongside him and several other artists.

In May 2021, oaf1 went on an unannounced hiatus from posting on social media, performing live, and releasing music. In December 2023, he returned briefly to tease new music, only to go inactive again shortly after.
