Nova88 (or Nova) is a Raleigh-based trap/rap artist, originally from Central Africa. The narrative displayed so vividly in his music is sincere, with a subtle hint of spite to those who oppose him. Many of his songs via Soundcloud go into detail about past experiences with heartbreak, stress filled hopelessness, and the impending teenage angst that comes from growing up (as well as the anti-social tendencies that follow).

Determined for redemption however, Nova’s heartfelt examination of his (and your) problems gives way to the acknowledgement of self-love, almost as if his consciousness could streamline directly into the music (almost like “a vibe”).
