Notty Taylor is an independent Brooklyn-based hip-hop artist and producer originally from Knoxville, TN, known for his evocative “late-night cityscape” sound, blending soulful, melodic rap and alternative R&B.

In 2016, he co-founded the independent multimedia collective Purple Room Creative with fellow Knoxville native t.ANT (a prolific artist/engineer/producer), and has released several projects under the imprint — including CUTLASS, GetMeThru, NOTTYhrs, NIGHT VISION and more.

After contributing to soundtracks for NBA2K21 & Prentice Penny’s Netflix Original Film, “Uncorked,” the Overtime Elite (OTE) Basketball League and the NBA took notice — spinning several “NOTTYhrs” songs in arenas nation-wide.
