niceboy ed is a British Indie singer-songwriter who rose to prominence following a September 2022 TikTok by Taylor Swift which featured niceboy ed’s first single “life you lead”. Considering the song had only come out the day prior, fans speculated that niceboy ed was a personal friend of Taylor and her partner at the time, Joe Alwyn.

Despite these rumors, niceboy ed has yet to reveal his identity, instead deciding to keep the focus solely on his music.

Following a hiatus after his first three singles, Ed would release “high hopes” in October 2024, seemingly beginning a new album rollout.
