Dear friends, dear “Netslowers”,

As some of you know, we have re-recorded our tracks from the oldschool NETSLOW period in the late 90s.
You do not know us? We have rocked the stages with bands like TORMENTUM, SENIL, LOKALANESTHESIE or DEADLINE.
Our musical legacy lived forth through bands in which our former drummer Jan played. He continued some of the groove in his bands HARVEST and LAST. He now plays in the band SUNDAYTUNE.
Basti our former guitarist has produced music in his drum-n-base project DIVA.
Branko collaborated with Tim Klöcker in a project with the exotic name MECHASOUNDS / THE BARBARIANS. A few rehearsals and collaborations with other bands (DEADLINE) and individuals followed.
Dave (former bass player) and Basti jr. (former rythm guitar) are back in Steglitz to stir up trouble, e.g. with Hardcore band CARLITOS WAY.

We have taken some time! 20 years after our first and 18 years after our last gig, our debut record “RAW” came out in October 2018!
We pulled this thing together with producer Felix Gretzer (producer or member of band such as LOGAR’S DIARY, HERZBLUT, DESILENCE, DAWN, EMPIRE OF MARS and more). The final polish was applied by the magnificient Howie Weinberg (METALLICA, NIRVANA, SLAYER, PANTERA etc.), who mastered the final set of tracks.

What motivated us to reactivate “NETSLOW” in 2015? We don’t know, but we felt the time was right to complete an album of our own songs. There were some bootlegs and tapes floating around, but we just did not make it to the studio when we were enact. In 2014 we met Felix and got him excited about the reviving of the songs in a recording project!

Why do we think that the old songs still interest someone? Hmm, maybe because we always believed in the timeless quality of the songs, but could not realize it with our means at the time.

Should we really dig up the “hatchet” again? Absolutely!!! We believe in a life beyond condos, playgrounds and 9-to-5 jobs. We see that our heroes of that time almost all still make music, at 40, 50, 60 or 70 (and they all have an everyday life).
Our theory: Let us raise hell and show the youngsters how we rocked in the nineties. We were influenced by the best bands and legendary musicians.
We took time to experiment, had an explosive attitude and wanted to express our art in an expressionistic fashion when many of today’s kids and musicians of the current zeitgeist were still too small or not even born.

Join us in our new chapter from 2020 and beyond. Buckle up, grab a cold beer and look forward to what’s coming !!! It gets loud and violent !!!
