AKA: Nathan J. Subbiondo, Nathan Subbiondo, Zane Arky, Nathan Joseph Subbiondo
Nathan Joseph Subbiondo (born July 14, 2004), better known professionally by his stage name nate sib, is a singer, producer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. He frequently collaborates with his close friends and producers, kimj and 2hollis, which he covered multiple show openings for.
nate sib was always very open about his musical interest, he notably performed his original song “I am lost” at a school event in 2018. The next year, he shared a video on social media exposing his vocal and piano skills, before exploring other styles, and eventually posting further elaborated music on streaming platforms.
In 2020, he released songs like “I can sound like rex” or instrumental pieces, such as “Metrograph” (2022) and “zane is listening zane is listening zane is listening zane is listening zane is listening zane” (2024). His vocal skills nonetheless remained central to his music.
The first official streaming release marking the emergence of his refined style appeared on October 5th of 2023, with “Why can’t you see,” a single produced by his close friend 2hollis. The track was added to the NHL 24 soundtrack, an ice hockey simulation video game developed by EA Vancouver.
nate sib started gaining a lot of attention in February 2024, thanks to the release of “U and I,” and for you, his first EP, which boldly intertwines electro beats fully produced by his friend kimj with melodic pop vocals in 6 versatile tracks.
He continued to grow with the release of multiple singles such as “strike” or “famous,” track that he notably turned into his first official music video, featuring a nostalgic American football atmosphere. This theme is echoed to on the cover of “don’t fall,” his second official music video released in August 2024, and produced with the help of his sister, photograph and creative director Chessa Subbiondo.
In summer 2024, nate sib opened for 2hollis on the boy eu tour, where he was warmly welcomed by European crowds. He continued opening during the America tour’s first and second legs from October 2024 to February 2025, which helped him grow a larger audience thanks to the similarity in the two artists' music styles.
Alongside touring, he released experimental singles, trying out new combinations of effects and beats, on alternative accounts such as Zane Arky or yslcc.
