Precious Marya Diaz Colon (born October 12, 2004), better known by her stage name, Murda B, is a drill rapper hailing from the Bronx, New York City.

Murda B began her music career in late 2022, releasing her debut single “Introduction” on October 26, 2022, which would gain popularity due to it’s heavily disrespectful and merciless lyrics, racking up hundreds of thousands of views in a short span.

With the attention she now had, Murda B would kick off November 2022 with the releases of “DND,” “Notti Gang What,” and “New Face Of This Shit,” all gaining 100 thousand views in the same weeks of their release, respectively.

On December 1, 2022, just over a month since her debut single, Murda B would sign a $1.3 million record deal with Sony Music Entertainment under the RECORDS, LLC and Columbia Records divisions.

Following being signed, Murda B would release a streak of singles, most notably February 2023’s “SPIN SPIN!!!,” March 2023’s “Click Click,” and April 2023’s “Murda This, Murda That.” She then would ultimately release her debut EP Murda She Wrote on April 28, 2023.

Shortly after releasing her debut EP, Murda B would take a 8 month long hiatus, only making a reappearance with her track “Hazard Lights” in December 2023. She would then again pause releasing music before May 2024’s “One Mic Freestyle.”
