Mr. Maceo, also known as Maceo and Maceo Da Man, is a West Memphis, AR / Memphis, TN rap producer, who began his career around 1997.

Initially, he wanted to be a rapper, and with a friend (Tye from “Coming Up”), they planned to have a tape produced by Tommy Wright III, but Maceo ended up becoming a producer instead. His debut production was “Gram Afta Gram”.

Best known for being the main producer of the West Memphis rap group Manson Family, and for producing numerous classics under Tommy Wright III’s label Street Smart Records.

Later in his career, he worked with Memphis rap heavyweights, such as Lord Infamous and Frayser Boy, as well as T-Rock from Atlanta.
