Mon Rovîa

Hailing from Liberia and now residing in the mountains of Tennessee, Mon Rovîa, makes music in American Appalachia. Having been rescued from the war in his homeland, the name “Mon Rovîa” serves as a tribute to Mon’s roots, symbolic of the journey he continues to walk.

Describing himself as “relationally like Mr. Rogers, philosophically like Winnie the Pooh and sonically like Nick Drake”, Mon Rovîa’s music carries a story of resilience and grace.
