Molly Santana
Molly Santana (born October 10, 2004) is a Japanese African-American recording artist based in Los Angeles.
Molly originally was known as a streetwear influencer, where throughout the year 2019 her social media presence started to gain traction slowly but surely.
Although she started out as a streetwear influencer, she would slowly figure out her passion for music. In an interview with VMagazine, she explained what drew her to music:
My parents always played music around me. When I was growing up, my mom was a journalist for music so she used to interview artists before she had me. Music has always been in my family, nobody ever did music, but we all appreciate music a lot. I think I realized more when I was around 15 or 16 years old, I wanted to do music because I was so obsessed with so many different mainstream and underground artists. So I realized, it’s finally time for me to take a step towards that.
Molly’s discography started back in late September 2021, where she released her debut single “Y They Talk Abt Me ?” which prompted her to release the October 2021 EP, Molly’s World.
On November 25, 2022, she released her debut mixtape Neptune. This would be followed up with her second mixtape, Mélange on May 26, 2023.
On April 12, 2024, Molly released her breakout single “Chain Swangin,” gearing up for her debut self-titled studio album, which released on April 26 of that same year. Due to the success of the project, Molly would earn herself a record deal with Victor Victor in the Summer of 2024.
After multiple album trailers and teasers slowly hinting up to a new album, on May 30, 2025, Molly would release her highly-anticipated album Molly And Her Week Of Wonders, having featured artists such as Che and Hardrock.
On May 15, 2026, Molly reached a new career milestone when she appeared on “Ran to Atlanta” alongside Drake and Future on Drake’s ninth studio album ICEMAN. The collaboration marked one of the most anticipated hip-hop moments of the year, and was also accompanied by a music video cameo.
