AKA: Mathilda Heinz, Mathilda Grace, Mathilda Grace Heinz

Milune, ilune symbolizing ilu (i love u) and lune (moon), is a young Swiss-American artist. Born Mathilda Grace Heinz in New York in 2003, her family moved o Zurich, Switzerland when she was 8. Milune speaks English, French, and German.

Her indie-pop is inspired by vintage sounds while blending modern styles. Her music deals with themes like sexuality, love, and mental health. Milune, who is lesbian, is very open about her sexuality and strives to create a safe space for anyone struggling with topics like their mental health, sexuality and finding yourself in the midst of the intense emotions of life and love. Milune mentioned this in an interview, “Having a positive impact, being able to help young people who are going through what I myself went through at 13, is precious”

One of the main artists that inspired Milune is Billie Ellish. Milune herself even said about Billie Ellish, “I mention [her] in every interview.” Other artists she cited as influences were Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Clairo and more indie artists, such as Tame Impala. Throughout her teen years, Milune took ballet lessons and practiced singing.

Milune’s first song, “What am I living for ?” was released on July 12, 2022. This was followed up by “rose garden”, “hide” and “lunacy.”

On June, 21, 2024, her debut EP, “rabbit holes” was released. In the same year, she was chosen to open for Griff.

Her debut album, “Hearts Lust”, was released March 7th, 2025. “blonde”, “Hearts Lust”, “bad in bed”, “kissing you at midnight” and “moonflower” preceded the album as singles. On April, 2025 she started the “Hearts Lust Tour”.

Milune has now started rolling out her sophomore album’s era by releasing the singles “THE GIFT”, “MAGAZINE”, “SWITCH”, “YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS, I BELIEVE IN PUSSY”, and “HOMECOMING”, with an album release expected soon, before kicking off her “Milune keeps giving, THE TOUR!” tour."
