Mikaela Davis draws from her classical harp training and 60s psychedelia to create genre-bending jams.

Davis often plays alongside her supporting band And Southern Star, comprised of Davis on harps and lead vocals, Cian McCarthy on guitar, Shane McCarthy on bass, and Kurt Johnson on steel guitar. She has also shared the stage with the likes of Bob Weir, Christian McBride, Bon Iver, Lake Street Dive, Circles Around the Sun, and The Mountain Goats.

Her record And Southern Star is regarded by Glide magazine as “pure artistry” among the top 20 indie releases of 2023.
