ii / miind or alxndr proclaiming himself as the “next Kanye West” is an artist / producer from North Carolina, releasing music since 2017, he made a name for himself in the early Soundcloud scene with hits like shock! & treehousefreestyle.

He originally was one of the founders and artist in the group “VS THE WORLD” with his fellow collaborator SCXTT PILGRIM. But as of now is the creator of his own collective 10Life / D5, and is also in the collective “gthm” (with IAMDEAD, IKTL!, 90!, wet._.burrito, & Kane da Kid.)

ii would find his first successful track to be “shock!” which includes SCXTT PILGRIM and NEVI. in 2018.

The year after in 2019, he then would go on to release a series of projects in the span of a couple months, named: “do you miind?!,” “beautiful evil,” and “once in a blue moon.”, (that other than the last one, have been removed off his Soundcloud account, besides a few songs from all three projects).

After almost a year of just dropping singles, on March 13, 2020, he dropped a collab EP with his friend, and frequent collaborator SCXTT PILGRIM titled SCXTT & MIIND VS THE WORLD.

On May 15, 2020, he dropped his self titled mixtape with M.I.I.N.D.

In 2021 & 2022, he returned back to the music scene with two alternative pop projects with his EP 4evr! and first studio album abstract gardens. He also dropped 2 projects on his archive 219 on his birthday in 2023, and “AS A MATTER OF FACT”, (which 219 end up getting a sequel project in 2025, with 2192) and two rap projects in 2022 and 2023 respectfully ii over matter and project blu.

In 2024, he released his experimental sophomore album SAGA which was the start of his self produced era.

The year after, in 2025, he started dropping fully self produced music, and started to go under the moniker “ii” which is his official new name deriving from his original (miind), (representing the new era of his self produced & experimental music).

He released multiple singles in the year (being tuck and zook), and the singles from both projects he dropped during the year (being i’m already home, mackboys, scarletfaced, 4oes, may the lord be with us, and nosferatu) which led to him confirming the next era would be known as the “red.” era (with the eras previously being the “blonde” era in (2018-2020), the “garden” era (2021-2022), the “blu” era (2023-2024), and lastly “red” (2025-2027).

He confirmed that two projects were gonna drop in the year of 2025, and in July, he released his first fully produced EP, DEDSUNINK and in October released his return/2nd mixtape (since “ii over matter”) entitled REDFACE. And right after the tape, has dropped two singles in the month of November being nex west and dirty lemonade, and at the end of last year dropped the ending of his “rapping over a bunch of beats jus cus” series, with the third installment an 11 minute song of pure flows and lyricism completely produced by himself as a close out to the year and what’s next to come.

He then confirmed a lot of new music is on the way, and will continue to go for a more experimental and different sound for the future.

In 2026, he confirmed five new projects were on the way, three of them being the last three projects of the “red” era being (PRETTYDEATH, TAVERN, D5T, SCXTT & II: VSTW 2 & OUTSIDER*), both “D5T” (10Life / D5 collab project) & “OUTSIDER*”(third & final studio album) are said to release in 2027, he then confirmed he will be re-release every single project from every era dating all the way back to 2018 on all platforms, with the inclusion of the archive EP’s (2191, 2192, 2193, & AS A MATTER OF FACT), & unreleased projects from there respective eras (“garden” & “blu” era) on Christmas, which includes (rose gardens, WATCH THE VIOLET CRY, & SIDIOUS), retiring the ii / miind name after 10 years (2017-2027) to release new music under the alias alxndr, which has a completely melodic & different sound.
