One of the more prominent producers coming out of the new wave of alternative rap music, Cameron James Pitts (born November 9, 1995), known professionally as MexikoDro, is holding it down for southwest Atlanta.

He is the co-founder of the record producer group BeatPluggz (previously known as Plugs), and has produced for artists such as Lil Yachty, Rich the Kid, Playboi Carti and Drake.

Although Mexiko released his own solo material as early as 2019, while continuing to produce for major artists, in March 2025, Mexiko gained recognition as a solo artist, thanks to the hit single “No Date,” which blew up on social media. This ultimately resulted in Mexiko landing a record deal with Republic Records on June 17, 2025.

On November 7, 2025, MexikoDro released his debut commercial project, Still Goin The Ep, consisting of fourteen tracks in total.

On June 26, 2026, MexikoDro released his sophomore commercial project, Stayed Down the Ep, containing features from Key Glock and ManMan Savage.
