In just a matter of months, Metrohendrix landed cosigns from Salim The Dream, Lil Boom, Jesus Honcho, $not, prettyheartbreak, and Lil Jufu.
By doing this he achieved the title as an “Artist To Watch”.
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Hendrix gets his vibrant appearance from his love anime. Before making music he was an instagram public figure. While never publicly releasing music he has always stated he will. Hendrix has spent years perfecting his image before he released music, he felt as if that was the least he could do since he wasn’t able to record.
In summer 2019, Hendrix released “Won’t you be my Waifu” and “Letting Go (from Greafer)” a few months later. Hendrix possesses a melancholy tone in his voice, similar to that of Juice WRLD’s – making whatever he says sound calm or sad. In songs such as “Soul Resonance” and “I don’t care anymore” he breaks the melancholy cycle to sound loud and aggravated.
As of now Hendrix is an Independent Artist and has a steady release radar. When in doubt he always reassures himself and everyone else that he doesn’t plan on going anywhere until he is famous. It’s unclear how famous he wants to be -but he has said in the past that he will be Hokage, so it is best to assume that he want’s everyone in the US (at least) to know him, and it’s only a matter of time until everybody knows Metrohendrix.
