Maycie, a seventeen-year-old singer/songwriter born in New Zealand, moved to America at the age of seven. She has performed on stage from a young age in Chicago and California, in venues such as the Sweetwater Music Hall.

Maycie has been playing piano, guitar, and writing music from a young age. She attended a summer singer-songwriter intensive at the world-renowned Interlochen School Of The Arts.

Maycie released her first single, Hide & Seek, in October 2019. Her second single, Cuffing Szn, was released six months later accompanied by a music video, where she collaborated with director Will Noyce.

Maycie is continuing to write and produce new music. She pulls inspiration from artists like Olivia O'Brien, Clairo, and SZA.
