Mason Jorge Reyes (June 16, 2004 – November 16, 2025), professionally known as maxon (or sometimes known as Maxon Margiela), was an American recording artist from Orlando, Florida.

maxon began his music career in 2024, releasing his debut track, “Mansion,” on SoundCloud. He eventually started posting snippets of his music on his Instagram page, which resulted in major attention for his music.

On November 1, 2024, maxon released his debut mixtape #healthy.

On November 29, 2024, maxon would release the biggest song of his career, “Austin Powers,” which immediately went viral through social media. Thanks to this, maxon landed a deal with Columbia Records in March 2025. Through Columbia, he would release two projects: Filthy and Kiss The Future!!!.

Unfortunately on November 17, 2025, it was reported that maxon had passed away by suicide. His estate is planning to posthumously release his debut studio album Rainbows After Rain in June 2026.
