Max Jackson
Newcastle based Max Jackson is an Australian singer/songwriter who has been working towards the release of her forthcoming debut album ‘LIFE OF THE PARTY’ for the past 10 years, and on Friday August 16 gave the first insight into the album with the release of the single ‘SATURDAY’.
‘SATURDAY’ was immediately added by country music radio programmers across the country and the Northern Daily Leader said “Jackson’s sound is a positive blend of country and pop…”.
The upbeat happy song reached the Top 5 on the iTunes Country Chart, peaking at #4.
Max is currently on tour opening for Gina Jeffreys, playing shows across the country until well into 2020.
‘LIFE OF THE PARTY’, Max’s forthcoming debut album, is due for release in early 2020 and second single ‘HOW TO LOVE A GIRL’ has just been released.
The album is real, raw and unique. Recorded between The Sound Emporium in Nashville, Tennessee and The Music Cellar, Erina, New South Wales, ‘LIFE OF THE PARTY’ was produced by long time friend and award winning Australian Producer, Rod McCormack. It sounds and feels like home and an adventure all at once.
Max Jackson has grown and changed and as every young artist does, but one thing has remained, all she really strives to deliver is three (or four) chords and the truth.
