Matty Boy is a Contra Costa County, California native who grew up around the criminal underworld. Raised by parents connected to the Hells Angels and California prison gangs, he was exposed to street life from an early age. His path eventually led him to found the street gang FAIM (Family Affiliated Irish Mafia) and face a federal case that could have resulted in a life sentence.

After serving his time, Matty Boy turned his focus to music, using his experiences to create raw, authentic gangster rap rooted in real-life storytelling. Inspired by Bay Area legend Mac Dre, along with Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn, EST Gee, and J. Cole, he has released over 75 singles and six projects, including Killer Khronicles with A-Wax, Sliders with Flatline Forreal, and No Jumper FAIM.

With his unfiltered lyrics, street perspective, and growing fanbase, Matty Boy continues to build his name and make his mark in hip-hop.
