MARK (마크)
AKA: MARK (NCT), Lee Min Hyung (이민형)
Mark Lee (이마크), born August 2, 1999 and known professionally as MARK (마크), is a Canadian performer of South Korean descent. MARK is a former main rapper, main dancer, and sub-vocalist of K-Pop group NCT and its sub-units NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT DREAM—sub-unit in which he also was the leader and face of the group. MARK was also part of SM Entertainment’s supergroup SuperM. Throughout his career, MARK has gained over 70 songwriting credits registered on Korea’s Music Copyright Association.
He debuted on April 8, 2016, as a member of NCT and NCT U with “일곱 번째 감각 (The 7th Sense).” On July 7, 2016, MARK went on to debut with NCT 127 through “소방차 (Fire Truck).” Later on, on August 24, 2016, MARK also debuted in NCT DREAM with the bubblegum pop song “Chewing Gum.”
From 2016 to 2018, MARK took part in the release of multiple official television soundtracks, such as “니 맘에 들어갈래 (What To Do)” with Henry Lau, and “Dream Me,” alongside Red Velvet’s JOY. Additionally, he participated in S.M. Station’s project song “Young & Free,” featuring EXO’s XIUMIN, and worked on his first solo song “두고가 (Drop),” which was performed with labelmate SEULGI of Red Velvet for the final of the hip-hop survival show High School Rapper.
In October of 2019, MARK was announced as a member of SuperM and debuted with the title track “Jopping.” While MARK initially left NCT DREAM at the end of 2018 due to its age-based graduation system, the system was abolished in 2020 and allowed him to rejoin the group with the song “무대로 (Déjà Vu; 舞代路).”
MARK’s first release as a soloist, “Child,” was the introduction to SM STATION’s NCT-focused project NCT LAB, and the third official solo release of any NCT member. The hip-hop song with rock influences was officially released on February 4, 2022. Just over a year later, his second solo release, “Golden Hour” was released on 7th of April, 2023 as part of the same NCT LAB project.
On April 7, 2025, the idol made his official solo debut with the first full-length album The Firstfruit. It is supported by the title track “1999”, as well as three pre-release singles: May 2024’s “200”, “프락치 (Fraktsiya)” featuring the bold Lee Youngji which has seen its daylight in December of the same year and “+82 Pressin'”, a collaboration between MARK and fellow NCT member HAECHAN released in March 2025.
On April 3, 2026, SM Entertainment announced that MARK would end his exclusive contract with the agency and leave the group as of April 8, 2026, marking the end of his 10-year journey as an NCT member.
