Marinate was raised in Brooklyn, New York; he grew up under the heavy influence of the Caribbean lifestyle; his family hailing from the island of Jamaica. Learned quick growing up in the big city, where he developed most of his conscientious thinking. He started making music after his grandmother passed away as a form of expression, and then he became a massive success in his high school winning talent shows, then in college expanded to performing with live instrumentation. Marinate’s 1st album “Black Oiler” is scheduled to drop on 7-7-2019.
