MADEIN (메이딘) is a South Korea-based girl group under 143 Entertainment. The current lineup consists fully of Japanese members: Mashiro, MiU, Serina, and Nagomi. The group’s original seven members included three Korean members—Gaeun removed in 2024, while Yeseo and Suhye left the group in 2025. The group name MADEIN is an abbreviation of “WE MADE IN U,” which alludes to the love of the fans that helped form the group, where a majority of the current members took part in survival show programs.

MADEIN originally debuted in 2023 with three members, MiU, Suhye, and Gaeun, under the name LIMELIGHT. In 2024, the group announced a rearrangement, adding four new members: two being former Kep1er members, Mashiro and Yeseo, and two being former Produce 101 Japan The Girls contestants, Serina and Nagomi. MADEIN officially debuted on September 3, 2024, with the EP 상승 (RISE).

On November 11, 2024, it was misreported by 143 Entertainment that Gaeun would be entering a hiatus due to “health reasons.” A few weeks later, it was revealed that Gaeun was removed from the group due to revealing the sexual assault and maltreatment she had received from the company’s CEO.

On December 26, 2025, 143 Entertainment released a notice announcing that Yeseo and Suhye have suspended their activities with the group and that MADEIN would continue promotions as four members.
