Maddi Gruber (Madd) is a musician from Chico, California. She writes, produces, arranges and performs all her own music as the lead guitarist and lead singer. She is 19 years old and relocated to L.A. by herself in 2017 to pursue her music, drawing inspiration from the rawest corners of blues, punk and rock from bands such as The White Stripes, The Clash and Prince.

Madd has been writing music since she was 7 years old, playing guitar since she was 12 and grew up surrounded by the DIY hardcore scene. She taught herself how to sing from vocal inspirations Little Richard and Etta James. Her music has been described as ‘Rock ‘n Roll in the 21st century’ using unconventional sounds and powerful energy. She is now working with drummer Justin Almazan touring and making music together.

Madd is currently independent and has released all her music herself while gaining a following all over the world.
