“Worse than the infernal heat, worse than the glacial ice, is the lukewarm.” Guided by this premise, the band Lukewarm explores the various afflictions of the human condition nowadays. Sometimes satirical, sometimes too sincere, the band uses dirty riffs, raspy vocals, and pulsating drums to try to understand what it’s like to be a young adult living in late-stage capitalism. The members have spent their lives navigating through Nirvana’s grunge, Fugazi’s punk rock, Ludovic’s hardcore, and Joy Division’s post-punk to create the band’s style from this bowl of influences. Add a pinch of sadness, anger, anguish and accumulated rebellion to this mixture, and we have Lukewarm.

Por vezes satíricos, por vezes sinceros demais, a banda utiliza-se de riffs sujos, vocais rasgados e baterias pulsantes para tentar entender como é ser um jovem adulto vivendo no capitalismo tardio.
