Luke Saward
Luke Saward is a music producer based in England, UK. He first became popular with his cover of Dire, Dire Docks from the game Super Mario 64, which has amassed over 100,000 views. Though he likes to distance himself away from the person he was back then (in his words: “a squeaky, noisy little sh*t”), he embraces the popularity and success the song received, despite him being rather embarrassed by his voice in the cover.
In 2020, just after the COVID-19 pandemic began, Luke released his first song on streaming services, Outside. This song tackles the hardships of being locked down inside during a unprecedented time in both the country’s history and Luke’s lifetime. To quote him:
“Music was and still is a way to express myself and keep me going. If I didn’t have music, hell knows how I would have gotten through lockdown in one piece.”
2020 saw a few more releases, but Luke’s best year up until this point was 2021. Luke released several tracks this year, including a 12-track album called ‘Channeling’. 2022 saw the release of even more music from Luke, as well as another twelve-track album on August 25th, called ‘Dawn’. Christmas Day of 2022 saw the release of a 25-track album, titled ‘THE PEOPLE’. It is a fully-instrumental album, using instruments ranging from a piano to strings to a harp.
“2023 is going to be a banging year, and I can’t wait to show you what I’m working on.”
