Ty Woods (born July 17th, 2004), better known by his stage name luhfauni (previously known as tru kenji) is a rapper and singer reigning from San Bernardino, California.

luhfauni began his music journey late 2021 in October with his first ever soundcloud release “Neighborhood!” following his second ever soundcloud drop 2 days later called “17” dedicated to his 17th birthday a few months before his journey began.

luhfauni’s first ever stage name was “vmpsantanny” when he was dipping his toes into the water in the music business. His name was changed and was later shortened to “vampsta” once he began taking his music journey serious. Every name he had was a completely different version of the young upcoming star.

His first drop under his new and improved version of himself “vampsta” was called “offaperc” with the first bar being “hated the old me and loving the new me” which he is showing himself love after making this change and officially giving his life to music and also reminding everyone that there is a young star rising.

May 8th, 2022 is the release of luhfauni’s first EP “Where is Tanny?” (vmpsantanny for short) and the meaning of this album is because after he changed his name people were asking “Where is Tanny?”. Some thought vampsta was another version of vmpsantanny that destroyed the character vmpsantanny after the name change so he dedicated his first album to the disappearance of vmpsantanny.

About a year later vampsta went through a couple of name changes in the hopes of finding himself again after going through some life changing experiences and mental health battles. He then found his way into becoming “tru kenji” following his first album release under that persona “1 of 1” on August 10th, 2023 which is where he began to grow his confidence and love for music again after so much mental health battles.

The original name of his “1 of 1” album was actually going to be called “7 stages of grief” because of the pain he was putting into the songs on that album, but instead he decided to name it 1 of 1.

Then September 5th, 2023 a little less than a month later he releases another album called “etre fou” which is french “be crazy” because he started to lose himself again after going through more mental health battles but then on October 13th, 2023 after long hard fought battles he felt like it was time to kill that version of himself once again.

He kills “tru kenji” and October 13th, 2023 “luhfauni” rose. He drops his first album “Rumination” on that same day. Then on November 10th, 2023 he drops his most viral song today called “margiela” featuring omgsanii.

He also said that he didn’t like “margiela” and didn’t intend on ever releasing it and when he was told to release it, it ended up becoming successful. November 30th, 2023 he releases his 2nd album under his newly improved self called “Put Nobody Before Me” (PNBM). He says till this day that PNBM might still be his favorite album from himself. Over time after more singles come out he drops “Homicidal” following a music video. Then he drops another long awaited album months later called “Fatal Attraction” and an EP afterwards called “DRESSED TO KILL”.

2024 was a huge year for luhfauni, after his dressed to kill EP he puts out 4 huge singles “she a slut”, “leopard”, “soul tied”, and “edge & lita” then followed up with a surprise album called “akrasia”.

The year 2025 begins and luhfauni starts it off sharp with 2 single dropped within the same week. “purple swag” being released on the 1st of january then drops 4 days later on the 5th a 2010 style young money type of song called “bak 2 da basic”.

This is a new style from luhfauni we’ve never heard before. With luhfauni giving us a nostalgic vibe with his new young money 2010 music style we should be witnessing an explosive year for luhfauni. This year will be big.
