James E. Dear IV (August 2, 2002 — February 22, 2026), professionally known as Luci4, Lucifer, Axxturel, 4jay X Luci4, and by various other monikers, was an American recording artist and record producer based in Los Angeles, California.

Luci4 was known for his hyperpop approach, with hip-hop drum beats and spiritual lyrics over dark club beats, often chopped and screwed to extreme tempos. He’s credited with creating the Sigilkore genre, which features trances, Luciferian culture references, and witchcraft spell-casting as lyrics.

With the help of islurwhenitalk and 2shanez, the three formed the now-defunct collective jewelxxet.

On February 22, 2026, Dear was found dead at a friend’s home in Los Angeles, California. While the cause of death hasn’t been announced yet, his death was confirmed by his manager, Kayla G, on TikTok.
