Lone Wild

Lone Wild, began under the guise of ‘The Fairweather’ that formed in January of 2015 after another project (Aftermidnight) started by Ashkan Karimi in 2011 came to an end. After enduring a series of changes, in ’16 Lone Wild stepped into the studio to record new songs which ultimately led to the release of it’s first two singles, Danger Cat & Stranger Ways, with it’s debut self-titled album Lone Wild to follow. Establishing a reputation for bold, bombastic rock built on a foundation of greasy, infectious grooves, Lone Wild followed its releases with a number of shows upon entering 2020, which ultimately led Karimi away from his hometown of Tulsa, OK to making Nashville, TN his new home.

In 2020, like many of us, Lone Wild was hit with the unexpected “joys” of quarantine. Amidst the slurry of a global pandemic, an election year in the U.S., surmounting racial injustices, and an overall pessimistic climate, the band did what it does best: escape it all to write new music while keeping their ears to the ground of what was going on. With the release of a BRAND NEW SINGLES “Locktup” and “The Dirties” along with a slew of new music on the way to garner the sophomore effort, Lone Wild invites the 2021 in; dancing their way out of quarantine and into all that’s in store for 2021/22. Be on the lookout for shows and more new music!
