LITTLE VIOLET are BACK! The retro-styled chanteuse and band, who stormed the ELECTRO SWING/VINTAGE POP scene back in 2012, return with a string of new singles and an EP ‘SILENT MOVIE’ released with the UK record label FRESHLY SQUEEZED. Jazzy vocals, dance beats, sophisticated lyrics and classic song writing combine to lift the quality bar high. Holding up well to comparisons with the likes of Caro Emerald, Swingrowers, Swing Republic and Caravan Palace, the female-fronted project combines similar influences, mixing 20s and 30s swing with modern dance music. Previously signed to Cuckoo Records (Zenomania songwriters go solo and whose releases include Cissie Redgwick’s ‘Gimme That Swing’) original songs included ‘Shut Up’ and ‘Don’t Stop’ which clocked up millions of plays on YouTube.
