lithu is a Sri Lankan Australian rapper, songwriter and producer based in Melbourne, Australia.

lithu started his music career by producing instrumentals on FL Studio under the alias “safarisettings”, releasing ganymede on November 4, 2024 and 2TUXY on November 8, 2024 through SoundCloud. Shortly after on January 5, 2025, he adopted the name “lithu” and released Whereu@. The song would then be released on streaming platforms on January 22, 2025, making it the first song lithu has publicly dropped featuring his own vocals.

lithu began creating more music, promoting on Instagram and TIkTok, leading to the release of his first album, +You on October 3, 2025.

On December 26, 2025, lithu would see his first success with the song all u know, achieving over 30,000 views on an Instagram reel, solidifying his name as an artist in the scene.

lithu would then establish his growth with the March 7, 2026 track ride or die, featuring 719023 and Ashvs, and was recognised by triple j Unearthed, a local platform for uncovering the best new music in Australia. Additionally, lithu achieved the spot as one of the 2026 Unearthed High Finalists under the annual youth artist competition, Unearthed High.

On May 24, 2026, lithu began promoting his second album, Om of the Universe and released the album on July 25, 2026 after a successful rollout with numerous teasers. gauri, the first track of Om of the Universe, was featured as his first music video presented with finleybread, an Australian creative director.
