Linx (CAN)

Linx is an alternative industrial rock band based in Montreal, Quebec, blending heavy atmospheres, gritty textures, and melodic experimentation into a sound that’s both raw and cinematic. Formed in the early 2020s, Linx emerged from Montreal’s vibrant underground scene with a mission to push boundaries—both sonically and emotionally.

The band made its debut in 2023 with the single “Crystal Jellyfish,” an ambient-meets-industrial track that introduced their brooding, synth-laced aesthetic. It was followed by a string of singles—each one revealing a new layer of their sound. Songs like “The Hunter” and “Dream Watcher” showcased their ability to blend distorted guitars with haunting vocal melodies, while “Dimension” (2024) and “Periodic Dance” leaned further into electronic and rhythmic experimentation.

By 2025, Linx had firmly established themselves as one of Montreal’s most intriguing new rock acts. Their most recent single, “Dead”, dropped in April 2025 and reflects their evolution—layered, dark, and emotionally charged, it’s a bold continuation of the themes they’ve explored since their debut.

Though still early in their journey, Linx has built a growing following thanks to their distinctive sonic identity and immersive soundscapes. Their music taps into themes of disconnection, introspection, and otherworldly transformation—delivered with a cinematic edge that’s earned them comparisons to acts like Nine Inch Nails, Puscifer, and Muse.
