Linoleum is an indie-alternative band from London that started in 1994, created by Caroline Finch and Paul Jones. After developing their unique sound on their own label, Lino Vinyl, they put out their first album called Dissent, recorded at Fort Apache and released by Geffen Records.

In 2000, they released their second album, The Race from the Burning Building, but the band broke up in 2001. The members then pursued careers in sound art, A&R, and visual art.

After being apart for twenty years, Linoleum got back together in 2022, performing live shows again and continuing to play music.
