Lilys are an American indie rock band from Washington, D.C. They have been influencial in the alternative rock and shoegaze scenes since their formation in 1988. As of April 2025 they’ve released 8 full length LPs and 3 EPs. Over the course of these projects the band has evolved in and out of many genres and subgenres. These periods are named by Kurt Heasley (lead singer) as Epoch I, II, and III.
