Formed in 2002 hailing out of Metamora, Illinois, Left 4 Dead (also known as LEFT4DEAD) is a nu metal band that combines intense breakdowns with (often fast-paced) catchy melodies, along with hints of emo in the vocals, creating an unmistakable sound. Their songs often dive into deep topics of death, the afterlife, and various social aspects of life. They released 3 demos in 2003 and 2004, an EP called Stitches in 2005, and their latest release, The Maniacal Hour, in 2020 (unofficially released in 2010). LEFT4DEAD is still active today, both on stage and in the studio.
