Lead Hands (previously known as Decoder) was a post-hardcore band from St. Petersburg, Florida. Formed in 2010 under the name Decoder, the band featured former members of Oceana, Of Machines, and VersaEmerge, and was signed to Rise Records the same year. On January 18, 2011, they released their self-titled debut album, debuting #44 on Billboard Top Heatseekers.

By early 2012, many of the band’s members left due to either personal issues or taking part in other musical pursuits. On March 1, 2012, the band changed their name from Decoder to Lead Hands, settling a lawsuit between them and a band from New Jersey of the same name. However, shortly after the name change to Lead Hands and after vocalist Keith Jones left the band, they disbanded.
