LAZER DIM 700

AKA: LAZER DIM, Devokeyous Hamilton, Devokeyous Keyshawn Hamilton, Luh4thagod

Devokeyous Keyshawn Hamilton (born March 8, 2002), known professionally as LAZER DIM 700, previously known as Luh4thagod, is an American rapper and audio engineer currently residing from Cordele, Georgia. LAZER is primarily known for unique style of avant-rap cadences along with unmixed vocals on heavy instrumentals with distorted 808s.

In an interview with Kids Take Over, LAZER explained to the fans on how he got the name, stating:

I’ve been had the name Lazer. I was making a Facebook name, me and my little brother were making a Facebook name and I had to put a last name and I ain’t wanna put ‘Them.’ So I changed the them to ‘dim,’ ‘cause it was me and my little brother Facebook page. The numbers, they just James Bond numbers backwards. I was just doing some shit. I ain’t wanna have just LAZER DIM, so I just put the numbers in there.

Through that same interview, as well as another interview with Flophouse Atlanta, LAZER DIM 700 explained that both his father and Lil Wayne was his main inspiration and would be the main reason why he wanted to rap in the first place. LAZER DIM 700 also stated on the sound of his music being rough on purpose, stating:

When I be on BandLab, I be changing my voice up, so I changed my tone up sometimes. Sometimes, I put personality into the bar, you see what I’m saying? It sound like this bar sounds funnier. That’s why I like doing it on BandLab, ‘cause I can do that on the headphones real fast instead of being it on the studio, it’s gonna all sound the same. It’s just the preset they be having me on in the studio, I just don’t like that. That shit just make me not wanna even do it no more. I just like regular shit, just put me on that bitch. 'Cause my voice is already mixed down. I’m always doing BandLab, I enjoy doing that shit.

Outside of rap, LAZER is known for his open and funny personality shown on his social media platforms and through interviews, as well as being known for misspelling words through his social media pages and through the titles of his songs.

Devokeyous' music catalog dates back to December 2013, at the age of 12, where he would upload freestyles and covers to popular songs during the time on an old SoundCloud account, to which it is still accessable. He would later return back to music in 2018 under the stage name Luh4thagod. This further prompted his first release, 4zzz (Drake Mixtape) on June 6, 2019. With a slew of consistent albums, mixtapes, and singles, his music career started gaining traction coincidently in late-December 2023 with the release of “Allowance Take,” and the snippet of “fukk 26zombiez” gaining attention on X in early-January 2024.

In mid-February 2024, LAZER caught the attention of the underground with the release of “Asian Rock,” a track that was initially released apart of a “song wars” hosted by media-personality and streamer plaqueboymax. When it first premiered through the stream, it received praised from not only Max, but also from underground acts such as Jace!, Molly Santana, maajins, and many more. This further ensued with the release of his debut studio album, Injoy, on March 13, 2024, to which it would do well in the underground rap scene. Songs such as “awsum,” “evil curse,” and “injoyable” would go on to be one of the many highlight songs from the project, mainly due to it’s heavily odd distorted 808s and the noticeable poorly mixed vocals, to which oddly enough fans would praise LAZER DIM for.

Other songs such as “Tony Dim” and “Treacherous,” which were previously released in late 2023, would soon slowly start to blow up on social media platforms, further boosting LAZER’s success. That same month, LAZER would go on to collaborate with frequent producer goxan to release Lazer’s Evil Inc. on March 29, 2024.

Since the multiple song and album releases throughout the year, alongside constant new releases independently through YouTube, LAZER has since gained the attention of Kai Cenat, YourRage, the previously mentioned plaqueboymax (to which he would go onto collaborating with him, even going as far as to dedicating a song to him titled “Laced Max” to which it also blew up through social media), and many more.

From there, the future for LAZER’s career would only skyrocket, going as far as to gain attention from world class music director Cole Bennett, being included in the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash 2024 lineup. He would also continue to release new music constantly, as well as collaborating with more artists such as Trippie Redd, Denzel Curry, Yeat, Baby Kia, Duwap Kaine, and many more. With all the hype surrounding LAZER, on December 18, 2024, he released his debut studio album, KEEPIN IT CLOUDY.

After releasing a slew of singles throughout most of 2025, on July 1, LAZER DIM released his sophomore studio album, Sins Aloud. Then on September 19, 2025, LAZER would quickly follow up Sins Aloud with his third studio album, GANGWAY, a more polished project where LAZER experiments with cleaner production. From there, LAZER would continue to release a slew of projects such as The Formula with Goxan, Stikkz n Stonez with mp5, Fwaygo with ycboi, and DOE IN music vol 1. with Dowin.
