born june 4th 1988 and raised in the East Side of harlem,
Strongly influenced by the culture of Hip Hop
with a combination of her daily life Experience
as a afro Latina in Spanish harlem decided to embrace
her talent of rap n poetry at the age of 14
but sadly buried her dream for music when her family
Encountered a situation that changed life for every individual
Within thee household. Amongst other rough stages in
Her life laydee continued to write
and kept almost every written piece of work to her self
except one poem which was published in the New York daily
Newspaper. Tho laydee was encouraged by her school psychologist
and peers to continue writing she insisted on keeping her craft to
herself. Dealing with life as a teenager Laydee love
listen to music by inspiring artists as in lil kim,Biggie smalls,
Tupac,Big pun,Fat Joe,Remy ma,Nicki minaj,Dmx,
Eminem, Cam'ron/dipset,50 cent/G unit amongst many others.
she also had much love for pop music too.
Continuing to grow from a Teenager to a young adult
laydee developed and decided to always carry the name Laydee(lady)
With the thoughts of her getting Through life she had to carry her self as
a strong young lady thats stand up for little girls standing up for themselves.
At the age 15 laydee met a young man she grew close to n fell in love with.
Within time find ing out the both share the love And passion
for the same things life they decided to plot on getting jobs
and having their first child in October 2006.
Shortly after laydee and her family decided to move out of N.Y.C to upstate NY in 2008.
Do to constant run ins with the law gang violence and street hustle along with
Helping her child’s father find his biological family which had relocated from the city too
she felt it was great idea for a fresh start and
new beginning with more blessings.
Soon after getting her first apartment that same year and
Having a few(3) more kids laydee n her boyfriend
decided to officially tie the knot & get married in 2014.
Along with the blessings of marriage they started
payments on buying a 4 bedroom house.With hard times n struggle in 2017
her husband felt it was necessary to
give up on a dream he had for rap/hip hop but
laydee wasn’t with that and seen he had a passion she
Once had and didn’t want him to give up,so
she decided to surprise him with Putting together
a studio in the bedroom. Within the time of her doin that
she decided to lay down a freestyle on a beat
which he was blown away by her voice, flow and word play.
With excitement her husband said nahh we gotta push u baby
And so they did,Laydee later finished the track & called it ready for war.

Along with her deciding to add on NYC
to her name Laydee letting upstate and other places know where she comes from and

from “Ready for war” which happened to allow her to
