Lantlôs is a German blackgaze/post-rock project founded by Markus “Herbst” Siegenhort and his childhood friend “Anggrau”.

Their earlier music leaned more towards a black metal sound, and over their releases it has transitioned into a calmer and more post-rock sound, especially in Melting Sun.

The band name means “Homeless” or “without a homeland”. Herbst chose this name because he does not feel at home in Germany nor anywhere else.
