Lalleshwari is one of Katie Jane Garside side projects. The name “Lalleshwari” is derived from an ancient Hindu poet.

It was created in early 2006, and later that same year, she debuted with her studio album Lullabies in a Glass Wilderness. Originally released as a batch of 300 CDs somewhere in June of the same year. The album got reissued in 2009 and was later published online.

In 2023, Katie Jane Garside teased a possible second Lalleshwari album on Instagram.
